Even on hard, HQ's are always easy (they never send enough to units to seriouly damage your base regardless of diffuculty, only the Necrons and Sisters of Battle pose a threat to your base on HQ missions), just defend up in the beginning and mass out attack later during the mission.
I played as Eldar, and I ran straight for the Necron base and other HQ's to stop them from reinforcing their territories, then took over the rest and moved on to the next planet. My strategy for hard mode on the campaign was to just constantly attack every single turn before the most of the computer players got their defense to 5 (to avoid fighting 2 on 1 battles). On Kaurava 2 i have invaded a zone with a portal and reinforced it.However,just like the Dark Eldar the Tau Empire have surrounded me with a 10 strenght reinforced zones,and i cant do anything.So practically every single one of the remaining races have reinforced there zones to 10 strenght and none can take the territories of the other.In which point the came just stands still.No one cant invade the other.And i dont know what to do,i cant take a 10+ reinforced zone since i play on Hard so i dont know how to make the game 'progress'.ĮDIT:I do realize this is not the place for this thread but,if someone knows a DoW Fansite that has Forums to discuss please link.Thanks!
On Kaurava 1 the Sisters of Battle and Imperial Guard are pretty even.They have an equal amount of zones and none can triumph over the other.I have no pressence on that planet since the Sisters have reinforced the Portal Zone with 10 defence and i cant break trough it. You see,im playing the Campaign on Hard Mode (since i've done it on Normal so many times) and i have this dilema.I play with Necrons and have invaded the capital of the Eldar (the only contender for my planet) i have everything reinforced with 7-10 defence on my planet and im off to attack and invade other planets.Īnother race which is progressing good is the Dark Eldar who have invaded the capital of Chaos and have reinforced all of there zones with 9-10 defence.The only zone they dont have on there planet is a zone with a portal which i own and have reinforced,but the Dark Eldar have surrounded that zone and have reinforced aswell so i cant invade them or do anything. So,i need some help with Dawn of War 40k:Soulstorm.If anyone plays it please help.
